With the increase in 24/7 'always available' technology, time to think has become a rare commodity. The article is excellent, may i add:

-Set your mobile to silent, turn of the chat, as well as your land phone if you can.
-Isolate yourself, taking the time to think with other people around does not work well.
-Reserve time blocks in your agenda to think, and I'm not talking 30 minutes or 1 hour, but 3-4 hours.
-Surround yourself instead with whatever calms you, and helps you to find peace.
-Do not limit thinking time to work hours only. find activities or interests which promote thinking.

In my case, its music (without vocals), plants (as many as possible), my fish tank, BBQ time, and me myself (and my thoughts).
